Biomedical Industry

There are more than 200 biomedical companies in Chengdu with more than 150 certified with GMP.

CDHT has a biopharmaceutical core park with presence of many famous pharmaceutical companies such as Kanghong Saigent, Diao group, PUTH, KangMei, SiHai, Enpu, Alltech, Huaxi Yida, Dikang, Sanjing Shenghe, Hengrui covering fields of modern Chinese medicine, chemical composing medicine, blood products, medical appliances, medical package and nuclear medicine. In 2008, a total output of 9.5 billion RMB and added value of 4.12 billion RMB were achieved.
