A complete industrial chain has been formed with more than 70 IC design companies, two 8 inch wafer fabs, four test & assembly enterprises and many other associated enterprises, represented by Fujitsu, Connexant, FreeScale, Huawei, Cension, Intel, SMIC, UNISEM, MPS, Sumitomo, ULVAC, BOC, AirProduct, Messer, Linde Gas and U-PAK etc. Production value of IC industry in 2008 has fulfilled 1.63 billion RMB.
