South Park

Located in the south of Chengdu city, the South Park covers a total area of 51 km², 4.5 km from the city centre and 12.5 km from the airport. As a software R&D and service outsourcing industry oriented park, the South Park is a scientific and commercial new town featuring scientific innovation, commerce, internationalised, fashion and good living environment.

With 6 parks as the carrier, CDHT is fostering a sleepless town suitable for both living and work. Chengdu National Software Base, The National IC Design Chengdu Industrial Base, The National Information Security Industrial Base, and The National Digital Entertaining Industrial Base are located in the South Park.

Tianfu Software Park: Tianfu Software Park (TFSP is an ecological park of international standard, serving global software and service outsourcing players. It has a total built-up area of over 1.2 million sq. m, with 790,000 sq. m being already operational.

TFSP has attracted many world-renowned enterprises to set-up business, including IBM, SAP, NEC, Symantec, NCS, Accenture, Huawei, Ubisoft, Alibaba, Mearsk,, Nokia Siemens Networks, Tencent, Wipro and NIIT Tenants here focus on fields such as ITO / BPO, network communication, software development, digital entertainment, information security, back-office operations, and talents training.

High-tech Incubation Park: Covering an area of 500 mu, with a total construction area of 220,000 m². There are over 300 software enterprises, R&D centers, and consulting firms in the park, including Microsoft, SAP, SUN, Ericsson, GAMELOFT, Huawei, Lenovo, Changhong, Panovasic, Kingsoft, ZTE, and Sunplus.

The Public Platform of National Software Base: With a total investment of 70 million RMB, the public platform is well-equipped with Microsoft, SUN, IBM, BEA, and HP software and labs to provide technical supporting systems to software firms on campus in R&D, demo, testing, verification, education, information distribution, and engineering management to facilitate standardization and internationalisation of software firms on campus. The only Microsoft X-Box video game R&D platform and GGL platform, the largest e-sport association are also in the base.

Financial Back-office Park: Occupying an area of 2 million m², this park will be the largest financial back-office park in the Western Region, planned to accommodate 100,000 employees. The park will include call centres, e-bank centres, documents processing centres, settlement centres etc. for banks, insurance and securities companies.

Biopharmaceutical Industry Core Park: With a planned area of 2.5 km², this park is the major carrier for National Biopharmaceutical Industry Base, biopharmaceutical innovation assemble area as well as incubation base for pharmaceutical SMEs. Many famous domestic pharmaceutical companies and research institutions have presence in this park, including Di'ao Group, Enwei Group, Huaxi Pharm, National Bio-treatment Key Lab, GLP Center, Di'ao National Pharma Tech Center, National Chiral Drug Program Center etc..
